Salary Range: $60,000 - $62,000 annually

Position Description: We are seeking a professional, experienced, self-motivated, and organized individual to join the UMOM Team as a Data Support Specialist. This position is responsible for providing ongoing staff training and technical support, ensuring data quality and integrity, generating monthly reports, and supporting a data-driven culture of accountability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Staff Training & Support
· Trains program staff to effectively use UMOM's internal tracking system, Efforts to Outcomes (ETO), which supports the data and information needs of all UMOM programs, the Board of Directors, funders, partnering agencies, and the entire UMOM organization.
· Supports staff in the regular utilization of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
· Creates and maintains ETO and HMIS training curriculum, user manuals, and instructional materials.
· Responds and follows up in a timely manner to staff questions and data quality corrections in Freshdesk.
Reporting and Measurement
· Fulfills UMOM's reporting requirements for internal evaluation and external funder compliance.
· Collaborates with program staff and managers to implement program improvements, support program information needs, and evaluate program performance.
· Generates regular data quality reports and creates processes and procedures to ensure accuracy of information and compliance with grant requirements and data standards.
Database Management
· Manages all ETO and HMIS user accounts, system settings, and security access.
· Creates and maintains custom forms and displays within ETO software to assist in the organizational tracking of projects and to improve program efficiency.
Qualification and Competency Requirements:
Experience and Education
· Bachelor's degree required, ideally in a related field (or equivalent level of experience)
· Experience providing training, database or data reporting support in a social service agency preferred
· Experience working with underserved or disadvantaged populations preferred
Data-Driven Evaluation, Reporting, and Monitoring
· Ability to effectively monitor numerous data related details and accurately identify any errors or missing information
· Understands how data informs programmatic decision making that allow UMOM to track program effectiveness
Computer skills
· Proficiency with applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
· Experience with Efforts to Outcomes (ETO), SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence, MS Power BI, and/or HMIS software is preferred.
Compliance
● Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to obtain one
● Valid AZ driver's license and a driving record that falls within UMOM's policy
● Ability to clear the Central Registry Screening from the Department of Child Safety.
● Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

· This position is typically performed in an interior, environmentally controlled office setting. The duties of the job require extended periods of time being stationary and manipulating a computer (keyboard, monitor, mouse), and other standard office equipment including, but not limited to printer, calculator, copier, telephone and associated computer/technology peripherals.

Work Schedule: The typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, normal business hours. This position allows for a hybrid schedule depending on the needs of the position and the organization.
