Pay: $18 - $20 DOE

4 days a week at 10 hour shifts.  Saturday - Tuesday.  Monday and Tuesday are night shift

This position is located in Crane, TX.

The Data Termination Cabling Technician will be terminating Cat6 or Cat6a Ethernet cables.

Job Details:

• Measure and cut cable to desired length using a cable cutter
• Strip outer jacket using a wire stripper or jacket cutter to remove outer jacket 
• Untwist the pairs of wires and arrange them in the correct order
• Insert wires into the RJ45 modular plug and make sure the locking clip is facing down
• Use crimping tool to crimp the connector onto the wires
• Repeat process for the other end of the cable
• Use cable tester to check for continuity and correct wiring

Job Requirements:

• 1+ year experience with Cat 6 or 6a cable
• HS Diploma
• Certification preferred
•  
• Must be alee to lift 50 pounds unassisted
