Description:
Maximo data conversion validation analyst. This person could be a tester familiar with data conversion projects or a BI analyst familiar with data validation.
- The project is converting data from many target systems to the new Maximo installation.
- The primary form of requirements are data mapping files but the project team is now retrofitting business requirements.
- The role is to REVIEW the testing approach, not to do the testing. Therefore the individual needs to be familiar with data systems (schema, data mapping requirements, SQL) and testing/validation of data conversion in both manual and automated approaches. This role will be reviewing requirements, data mapping documents, test cases, traceability matrix, and other materials to evaluate the coverage and approach to data conversation validation. The deliverable is a set of recommendations on improvements to be made to the testing prior to the next data conversation test event.
- Familiarity with data systems is required.
- Familiarity with ALM is required.
- Able to evaluate an automated validation design.
- Familiarity with Informatica is a plus.
- Familiarity with Maximo is a plus.
