- Job Description:
- Work with teams to improve both cloud and on premise databases by ensuring that data is secured and access according to established standards.
- Plan, implement, support and maintain enterprise database management system environments
- Design, implement and modify physical database structures; evaluate, test and implement database management systems, utilities and tools
- Control the migration of database structures from the test environment into the production environment
- Monitor and tune production processes
- Coordinate database security requirements
- Report on status of database security
Minimum of 2 years of experience administering databases
- Experience in performance tuning
- Proficiency in PL/SQL coding, troubleshooting, and performance tuning experience in a high availability environment
- Experience installing, upgrading, and patching databases
- Experience maintaining database security standards for both on premise and cloud database systems
- Ability to determine best ways to deploy and monitor security controls
- Report on status of database security
