A Database Analyst within the Data Services Group responsible for supporting the Mortgage Integrated Data Environment and other initiatives of the WFHM Data Program. The role leads technical design and development staff, business, requirements analysts, and subject matter experts to identify authoritative data sources, analyze and understand source data, define and document business rules to acquire and integrate data, and profile/validate data. Helps drive project teams through an incremental and iterative approach leveraging a metadata-driven paradigm to deliver end-to-end data warehouse solutions.
Collaborates with business partners and technical staff in the creation of the Functional Design specifications and other technical design documents as appropriate. Provides technical leadership and oversight for design and development activities. Participates in design planning of Conceptual, Logical and/or Physical Data Models for the data environment. Develops data architectures and data management practices and procedures. Provides expert-level consulting services in the identification and resolution of data issues. Resolves assigned data issues and reports progress/status. Participates in the planning, design, and usage of data resources.
The role will collaborate with other team members to develop and advocate processes throughout the organization to leverage a shared data environment including:
Provides the highest level technical leadership for the planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's server-class databases. Handles and leads the most complex or critical data/ database management initiatives that typically involve multiple disciplines and multiple business groups, including responsibility for database architecture, design, integration, and/or data modeling. As the recognized technical expert, consults extensively with multiple client groups to provide strategic solutions, influencing long-range internal and enterprise-level data/ database architecture and management strategies. Serves as a consultant on technological advancements. Provides oversight, mentoring and leadership to less experienced staff. May represent the organization as an external spokesperson.

- Create, maintain and promote data and data warehouse standards
- Translate business requirements into innovative data designs that meet business objectives
- Promote the guiding principles of the data program including data sharing, consistency and reuse
- Design solution capabilities for analytic solutions across multiple reporting platforms
- Perform Conceptual, Logical, Physical, and/or Dimensional data modeling using data modeling tools
- Define ETL mappings and routines for active updates to the Data Warehouse and data marts
- Prepare high level design in consultation with internal (Business/TOG/EDA) and external partners for data solutions
- Perform code reviews, approval of code promotion and PAC2000 change requests
- Support enterprise release deployments and day-to-day operations of the MODE and MIDE environments

Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to interface with all organizational levels including meeting facilitation and presenting technical information intra/inter-departmentally.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a clear understanding of business needs and incorporate these needs into technical solutions
- Working knowledge of software development lifecycle, analysis and design standards and techniques
- 2+ years' experience working as part of an agile team leveraging a metadata-driven approach utilizing Ab Initio, Informatica, or DataStage
- 5+ years' experience conceptual, logical and/or physical data modeling experience
- 7+ years' experience performing data analysis and research in support of database design and data movement in a data warehouse environment
- 7+ yearsstrong technical skills in either Oracle or Teradata, Teradata preferred
- 7+ years' experience performing design and architecture in a data warehouse environment
- 3+ years dimensional modeling experience
