Our Technology Staffing team is looking to speak with Boston area candidates who would be a good fit according to the specifications below:
Responsibilities:

Write SQL code based on functional specification and technical design

Develop thoughtful designs that consider and leverage existing code and current databases, adhering to architectural standards

Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions efficiently

Analyze and resolve production problems, assessing alternatives as needed to ensure the best long-term solution

Perform code reviews, identify potential issues, and provide coding best practice recommendations

Build and automate repeatable processes to efficiently deploy back-end processes into existing system

Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience

Develop ideas for innovative programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends
Qualifications:
-
3+ years of experience in database developer role
-
Proficiency in database development and programming with MS SQL and Python
-
Experience with Agile/Scrum, TDD/BDD, and solid understanding of the SDLC
-
Experience using .NET, C#, VB 6.0, WEB APIs / RESTFUL APIs/ SOAP using WCF, XML, JSON
-
Experience utilizing advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers and SSIS packages

Ability to comprehensively understand data sources, elements, and relationships in both business and technical terms

Must be able to communicate and collaborate across multiple teams and departments
