Scope:
We're looking for a well-rounded database developer, experienced in working with multiple databases. Vertica is ideal, however will consider a combination of DB experience such as: Oracle, SQL, Server, Sybase or even NoSQL.
Client is currently leveraging Vertica to handle the vast amounts of data they utilize. It is currently sitting on about 130 servers. Much of the data is proprietary, not "shareable” and the hardware environment is aging. They will be virtualizing the environment and making this data more shareable by dropping it into Hadoops Distributed File System (HDFS) on Openstacks platform.
Must Have:
Interview Process: Phone followed by a F2F, may consider Skype for the right person
