Overview:East Penn is currently seeking a Shipping Support Clerk, 3rd shift, to work in our Topton Distribution Center in Topton, PA. The Shipping Support Clerk will be responsible for answering phones and calling carriers, among other duties.
Responsibilities:- Print loading copies, sort and deliver to appropriate locations
- Assist Common Carriers and complete appropriate paper work
- Check the shipping boards and ensure the product is ready for shipment
- Check the finished load reports to ensure they match the loading copies
- Complete appropriate paperwork for common carrier trucks
- Assist yard jockeys by giving them trailer and dock information
- Complete shipping paperwork and reports
- Other responsibilities as requested
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS, High School Diploma or GED; READING REQUIREMENTS, Basic Reading; MATHEMATICAL SKILLS, Basic Math (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying); COMPUTER SKILLS, Basic Computer Skills, Mainframe, Word, Excel,Personal Computer (PC); REASONING SKILLS, Ability to evaluate; COMMUNICATION SKILLS, Good Communication Skills, Good Telephone Skills
