The DE&I Program Leader of Learning Practice will be responsible for managing end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of programs within Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) capabilities for all J&J employees including setting the design strategy, learning objectives, measurement strategy, operational requirements, financial management & delivery against critical milestones. Responsible for managing day-to-day program operations and monitoring and evaluating programs to ensure the business needs and requirements are being met. Provides modern learning solution design expertise and applies adult learning and instructional design principles. Understands the breadth of business tools, resources, and day-to-day business operations of learners to help design an experience that embeds learning in the flow of work. Has the ability to collaborate effectively with mid-to-high level function/op-co stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
Responsibilities:
Learning and Development
- Define DE&I program and roadmap strategy
- Deliver or support in the delivery of training as needed, such as train-the-trainer or facilitation
- Effectively flex between strategically thinking about the needs of senior leaders and optimizing the operation in partnership with the Design, Development & Operational service teams
- Consult on business needs to identify learning solutions and/or coordinate appropriately with talent management to define desired performance outcomes and provide recommendations for learning solutions
- Actively participate in learning governance process, preparing, and presenting learning requests / needs
- Measure and evaluate program impact and effectiveness, and update program in alignment with the J&J Learn strategy and direction
- Manage on-going program deployment (e.g., ILT, VILT, etc.) and updates to ensure alignment with sector/function requirements
- Coordinate learning demand/resource planning and prioritization and engage with Learning Strategic Planning to inform budget needs
- Collaborate with appropriate Service Center team(s), as needed, to build / refresh design and execution of recommended learning solutions and ensure quality standards are met
DEI Program Management
- Collaborate with DE&I Practice lead to direct the planning, implementation, and management of projects in accordance with strategic demand plan for J&J Learn
- Promote an agile and innovative approach to DE&I development with internal/external stakeholders
- Develop deployment plan/schedule for assigned areas based on demand plan and any ad hoc priorities
- Track and manage allocated budget for program
- Oversee DE&I portfolio/programs in alignment with Learn strategy to drive world-class solutions
Cross Functional Partnerships
- Coordinate and provide guidance to Learn Global Service Center design / development and delivery team(s), as needed, to build and execute recommended learning solutions and ensure quality standards are met
- Collaborate with Learn Practice area leads, sector & regional leads on learner experience, cohesive learner journeys and skill development across the ecosystem of solutions to meet the evolving needs of the organization
- Partner with the Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Office and Head of HR Diverse Workforce Solutions to conduct needs-analysis, identify needs and close performance gaps by developing end-to-end training programs.
- Bachelor's degree is required. MBA preferred
- 8 years' experience building and delivering educational programming for employees
- Minimum of 5 years of experience building and delivering DEI educational programming for employees
- Strong expertise in Adult Learning and Instructional Design
- Measurement and evaluation of learning programs
- Well-versed in HR systems and HR systems training
- Strategy development and execution
- Project Management
- Financial planning and management
- Strong influence management and communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop internal and external networks
- Demonstrated track record of leadership traits (Leadership Imperatives)
- Proven ability to partner with diverse multi-functional teams across geographic boundaries.
- Proven leadership ability to effectively motivate and manage, directly or indirectly, a team including personnel who may be working in other locations in the US and outside the US.
- Proficient in all Microsoft products

The base pay range for this position is $118,000 - $203,550
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
