Solarity Credit Union is seeking a Full-time Debt Solutions Manager at our North 5th branch in Yakima, WA!
As the Debt Solutions Manager, you will make critical decisions to protect and secure assets. Oversee and drive constant improvement in results of Debt Solutions (Collections) operations. Oversee the operations of a complex Debt Solutions function that collects on behalf of multiple related parties, such as Fannie Mae, SBA (Small Business Administration), and other financial institution investors. Lead the Debt Solutions team of skilled, engaged associates that are cross-trained to be collection specialists. The top candidate will...
- Have a minimum of three years of experience in high-volume, operationally detailed, service operations, such as a call center environment.
- Have a minimum of two years of supervisor level responsibility.
- Have mortgage, business real estate, and commercial loan collections experience and expertise, including Fannie Mae and SBA.
- Lead a department to meet and exceed calls per day, calls per loan type, promises made and promises kept metrics based on collections industry standards.
- Turn in higher than industry standard performance in overall collections results, including charge off recovery success rate.

As a Debt Solutions Manager with Solarity, your typical day may include:
- Review and strategize on commercial at-risk and workout loans with collection staff within agreed timelines.
- Collaborate with Credit Quality department to minimize credit union losses.
- Drive continuous improvement through workflow analysis, automation, and innovation.
- Maintain financial records and reports.
- Lead Debt Solutions team by providing guidance on default loan handling.
- Serve as a community leader through involvement.
