_What’s the job?_
The Defined Benefits Supervisor is a highly visible role within our overall Retirement Team. The Defined Benefit Supervisor will provide expert direction to the SGC businesses, Human Resources, and third-party administration (TPA, actuaries and administrators) regarding pension-related issues. You will ensure the smooth operation of our Defined Benefit Pension Plan offerings and help our employees understand how the plans work and why this is such a valuable part of their overall retirement package.
+ Perform tasks that will ensure the smooth operation of the administration of our Defined Benefit plans.
+ Work closely with TPAs, actuaries, legal counsel, HR, and payroll while making sure that our participants’ data is correct in the TPA recordkeeping system so that benefit calculations are completed accurately, and retired participants are paid timely and accurately.
+ Support every business in North America, working on over 30 different pension formulas and servicing approximately 25,000 actives, terminated vested, and retired lives.
+ Collaborate with HR and Total Rewards to roll out any new retirement offerings or enhancements and help communicate such changes.
+ Assist HR partners and our employees to understand our plans by giving presentations and answering questions. You will gain exposure to our senior leaders by helping them understand the complexities of the qualified and non-qualified plans in which they participate. Occasional travel may be necessary.

_What do you bring?_
_Position requires knowledge of retirement plans (predominantly DB plans) and understanding of regulatory and legal issues.- Goal oriented position which requires the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently._
+ Education – College Degree Required
+ Minimum 8 years working in Retirement Plan Administration, knowledge of ERISA, DOL regulations, etc.
+ Minimum 2 years Supervisory and Actuarial experience preferred.
+ The successful candidate will be driven, solutions oriented, able to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously and have great attention to detail.
+ Must be proficient in systems used, including but not limited to MS Office, HRIS systems, Reporting software packages.
+ Occasional travel may be necessary to attend offsite meetings or to give presentations to employees.
