Deli Manager - Potash Markets

Potash Market is looking for an experienced Deli Manager to be responsible for overall operation of the deli department. The Deli Manager should demonstrate a passion for food and ensure customer satisfication is top priority.

Job Duties:

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Supervise employees in various duties such as cooking, serving, packaging, and operating counters
• Have knowledge on the differences in price, taste, preparation, use etc.
• Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory control to ensure freshness, product quality and turnover
• Ensure employees follow company policies
• Maintain a clean, neat and safe department
• Label and stock to ensure quality protection
• Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines
• Operate all food preparation machines and equipment

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 3 years of experiencing working in deli department operations
• Stand and walk 100% of the time
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting items at or above waist level
• Ability working in extreme hot/cold temperatures
• Ability to develop and manage budgets
• Have the skills and knowledge to offer solutions that meet or exceed customers' expectations
• Suggestive Selling
• Detail Oriented
• Positive role model with outstanding, friendly customer service skills
