Job Purpose
The Demand Planner is responsible for the Demand Planning and Inventory Management for the Violife brand. This role with lead all planning activities including developing a bottoms up demand plan, work with our global supply planning team to maintain optimal inventory levels, and work cross functionally with Commercial, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and Project teams.
The Demand Planner will drive the full planning functions for the Violife brand and is a critical member of the Supply Chain team. This person will be responsible for some of our key metrics including service level, stock level, material and finished goods products waste, and forecast accuracy and bias. This person will work directly with our global supply planning team, located in Poland. They will work cross functionally to define our ordering strategy as well as communicate any opportunities or risk.
Main Responsibilities
Develop and maintains a robust demand plan at a sku/retailer level combination utilizing data from multiple sources including shipment history and sell thru information. Work cross-functionally with commercial and finance teams to ensure one plan aligned by all parties
Work with global planning team located in Poland on weekly/monthly supply planning process. Review latest production and delivery plan. Must be able to represent US local market to Greece team to ensure awareness of key local activities, risks, and opportunities.
Maintain sku level DOH model and safety stock strategy at US warehouses to deliver best in class outbound service levels. Review inventory levels at DC's weekly to ensure inventory is distributed properly across the network and drive balance in the network where necessary.
Facilitate the monthly S&OP process including leading cross-functional demand reviews and informing team of latest supply picture, including highlighting major risks.
Measure service level on a weekly/monthly basis. Provide reason coding for all service misses and create action plans to correct for future shipments.
Measure forecast accuracy and bias on a monthly basis. Ensure robust analysis of key drivers of forecast accuracy misses and create action plans to correct for future months
Review inventory on a regular basis to understand stock health (expiration management), forecast waste, and drive action plans to reduce & mitigate waste.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 5 years business experience in Supply Chain required, preferably in CPG / FMCG.
Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, 3PL's and Operations ideal.
Demonstrated analytical problem solving
Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills
Possible travel 10% of time.
Self-motivated and capable of taking a lead position in completing duties in a multifaceted work environment
Comfortable handling large amounts of data and understanding of Financial
