About the Job
Georgia-Pacific's Hummingbird® is seeking a talented, experienced, and highly collaborative DemandProduction Planner to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona at our newest state of the art Hummingbird® digital press location.
This role is responsible for working closely with our capability groups that manage internal production and shipping leaders, Project Managers, sales, and other supply chain team members. We are looking for someone who can effectively manage multiple priorities, adapts to change quickly, and works well in a fast-paced team environment.

What You Will Do
- Foster a culture based on our Principled Based Management (PBM®) Philosophy
- Understand overall quality and product stewardship to ensure all team members understand their part and are executing the strategies as required
- Update production run dates in Plex to maintain accurate Material Requirements Planning (MRP) data
- Purchase and manage production materials inventory
- Support management of production materials suppliers
- Effectively communicate with the team using verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
- Know and understand all identified Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and proactively execute action plans to close the gaps
- Travel to other Georgia-Pacific sites for training and knowledge sharing collaboration
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in production, planning and/or scheduling
- Experience using SAP or other production planning system
- Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- Ability to travel per needs of the business
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering
- Experience in supply chain (including planning, scheduling, raw material, procurement, receiving, and shipping)
