Denial Management Specialist - New Products & Medical Foods - Pentec Health

The Denial Management Specialist will be responsible for resolving, preventing and fixing specific denial types for multiple payers in new lines of business.

Essential Job Duties:

• Investigate denied third party claims and take action to overturn denials for payment.
• Communicate global payor issues with the Payor Relations team.
• Ensure all denials are fully worked and new denials are communicated to supervisor.
• Maintain knowledge of appropriate coding and state mandates related to medical foods and other lines of business.
• Other job duties and special projects as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 3-5 years Healthcare experience in a DME or other therapy related to revenue cycle processes 3-5 years Healthcare experience in a DME or other therapy related to revenue cycle processes.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel to manipulate reports to maximize efficiencies.
• Strong organization skills and strong under pressure.

Salary Range: $50,000 annual
