Addison Group is working with a leading healthcare provider in Houston to fill a key role within their revenue cycle team. Our client is a large hospital system with a focus on delivering quality care and maintaining efficient revenue cycle operations. This role will support ongoing EPIC system improvements and oversee denials management.
Job Description:
The Revenue Cycle Manager will play a critical role in managing a team responsible for complex denials and revenue cycle operations, with a focus on government payers. This role is ideal for someone with strong EPIC experience and leadership skills who can work closely with high-level executives and provide hands-on support to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and train a team of 20+ professionals working on denials management.
- Oversee daily operations related to EPIC, including process development and work queue management.
- Collaborate on ongoing EPIC system improvements and support the team with challenging accounts.
- Communicate with senior leadership, providing regular updates and reports.
- Be an active, hands-on leader, willing to engage directly in problem-solving with the team.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in revenue cycle management, particularly with government payers (Medicare, Medicaid) and specialty physician groups.
- Recent experience with EPIC, including setting up processes and reporting.
- Proven leadership experience, managing and training large teams (20+).
- Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-changing environments.
- EPIC certification and/or a degree is a plus.
