THE INS AND OUTS OF THIS DENTISTRY ROLE

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Thursday with a 7:15 AM arrival, and limited Fridays with patients seen from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Our office is only open on a few Fridays each year, typically between 5 to 8 Fridays annually).

As a Dental Assistant, your day starts with a morning huddle, followed by assisting our dentists and hygienists with various patient procedures. You prepare patients for their appointments, manage sterilization and infection control, and handle X-rays. The workday concludes with ensuring everything is set for the next day's patients. Your role is crucial in maintaining a smooth and efficient practice environment, and you arrive every day ready to help take our clinic to new heights!

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a rewarding position that will help you advance your career faster than you thought possible! As our new Experienced Dental Assistant, you will:

• Assist dentists and hygienists with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Prepare patients for appointments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
• Perform infection control procedures, including sterilization and disinfection of equipment and instruments.
• Operate equipment, including X-ray machines, and take X-rays as required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients and the dental team to ensure smooth operation.
• Perform Coronal polishing of teeth
• Work with advanced equipment, such as dental scanners and 3D printers
• Perform lab work to create dental prosthetics

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• 20+ years old
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a dental clinic

Highly Preferred:

• Dental X-ray safety certification
