Job description
We are seeking part-time dental assisting positions to start that can turn to full-time positions in the future. You will be expected to arrive every morning at the office at 8:00 AM to pick up the mobile equipment from the office to take with you to the community. You will assist the dentist in four handed dentistry, patient care, patient documentations during clinical hours. After the clinic day is done, you will take mobile equipment back to office to run lines, sterilize instruments, restock mobile kit and review the schedule for the next clinical day.
Requirements:
· Vehicle availability
· Must be willing and able to transport equipment in your own personal vehicle. A standard 4-door sedan is large enough for the equipment but an SUV or crossover may be preferable.
· Time flexibility
· Travel flexibility
· Must enjoy working with elderly patients. Geriatric experience is a plus but not required.
· Must hold current x-ray certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in dental assisting.
Responsibilities:
· Strong teamwork ethics
· Patient care intake
· Assist the dentist with dental procedures
· Prepare the patient for dental procedures
· Prepare equipment and instruments for use during dental procedures
· Follow sterilization and safety procedures while assisting in dental procedures
· Clean, disinfect, and store equipment used during dental procedures
· Transport equipment and supplies to and from the community

· Geriatric care
License/Certification:
· X-Ray Certification (Required)

· Other certifications and licenses that pertain to dental assistant’s position
Salary $22-$26 an hour (depending on experience)
· Mileage reimbursement available
