NaphCare is hiring Dental Assistants just like you to join our team at the Sarasota County Jail facility located in Sarasota, FL.  Pay rates vary based on shift, site needs, and experience.  Shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and can be discussed upon interview.

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. Responsibilities for Dental Assistants:

• Coordinate dental services and assist Dentist with patient care, instruments, supplies, documentation and support the function of the dental department
• Assist in documentation and maintenance of all patient dental records
• Assist in triaging and scheduling of all dental sick call requests
• Prepare clinic with appropriate instruments and materials for scheduled visits
• Assist Dentist during treatment by providing instruments, materials, retraction or suction
• Mix and fabricate all restorative materials
• Ensure all dental equipment properly maintained and functioning
• Sterilize and disinfect equipment and tools
• Develop all routine radiographs

Qualifications for Dental Assistants:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate
• Maintain the proper training and unrestricted certification as a Dental Assistant
• A current CPR card
