The Dental Front Office Manager position is critical to achieving excellence in the delivery of patient care while creating a positive working environment. The manager supervises and coordinates staff and front office activities to provide a five-star experience. The manager will work closely with the owner dentists to ensure that all financial, clinical, and quality goals, along with patient satisfaction goals, are achieved for the practice, including establishing and implementing policies and procedures for the practice, evaluating personnel work quality regularly, reviewing reports, preparing and managing budgets, and supervising other activities and projects, as required.
Requirements:
- The manager requires limited supervision and should be capable of acting independently.
- The candidate must have the ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate work and have the ability to work effectively with many people at various levels of the organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to handle multiple tasks and appropriately prioritize.
- The ability to clearly communicate with internal and external customers, including, but not limited to, patients, co-workers, management, dentists, and visitors is a must.
- The ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA and policy is required.
- Proficient in software applications including, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- General knowledge of front and back-office clinical policies and procedures required.
This unique individual must have the following:
- 3+ years of dental management experience
- Extensive knowledge of Eaglesoft is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of clinical dentistry, front office administration, NC Medicaid, dental insurance, billing, and collection.
- Must have leadership qualities and strong supervisory and customer service skills. 6) Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
