Dental Hygiene Assistant - Dental Care Alliance

We are currently looking for a Dental Hygiene Assistant to work at our office Imagix Vinings located in Atlanta, Georgia 30339. This is a full-time position. The ideal Candidate must have an x-ray license for the state of Georgia and preferred to have their EFDA certification is preferred. We offer a competitive salary and an excellent benefit package! 

Hours: Monday- mostly off, Tuesday 7:15-3:30, Wed 10:00-6:00, Thursday 7:15-3:30, Friday 7:15-2:30

The following dental hygiene assisting duties are noted; however, other duties may be assigned:

• Distributes and collects completed documentation from patient including medical history.
• Sets up and breaks down treatment rooms, cleans & sterilizes treatment room.
• Sterilize & maintain equipment & instruments.
• Upholds office policy including HIPAA & OSHA
• Greets and escorts patients into operatories and escorts them out.
• Performs assigned daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning & maintenance duties.
• Reviews medical history and inputs into CPS. Asks initial consult questions from patient, records information and takes intra-oral pictures for doctor.  Fills out exam notes as dictated by doctor.
• Ability to take clinically appropriate xrays.
• Obtain and review needed consent for patient treatment.
• Other duties as assigned

• 1 + Years Experience working as a Dental Assistant
• Completion of Dental Assisting Program 
• EFDA certification, preferred
• X-ray license for the state of GA, required
