Dental Hygienist - Progressive Dental and Associates

Progressive Dental and Associates, a private dental office, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures such as teeth cleanings, scaling, and root planning
• Conduct oral health assessments and aid in develop individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide relevant oral health information
• Administer local anesthesia and place dental sealants as needed
• Take dental x-rays and record patient information accurately
• Assist the dentist during procedures and provide chairside support if necessary
• Sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Valid Dental Hygiene license in Illinois
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene theories, practices, and procedures
• Proficient in taking dental x-rays and using dental software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain patient confidentiality
• Attention to detail and dedication to providing quality care
• A high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions
