About the Job
Imagix Dental of Norcross is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team in Norcross Georgia. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a practice that values both excellence in patient care and the professional development of our staff.
Location: 5270 Peachtree Parkway Suite 101 Norcross, Georgia 30092
Schedule: Our part-time position covers Monday, Tuesday and Friday, offering flexibility within a supportive and professional environment.
About Us
Our general dentistry services include exams, cleanings, oral cancer screenings, sealants, fillings, extractions, porcelain crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants. We also offer cosmetic treatments like bonding, porcelain veneers, tooth-colored fillings, and teeth-whitening kits. Our pediatric dentist is especially skilled in caring for children and adolescents.
Responsibilities
- Provide thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to promote optimal oral health
- Administer X-rays and utilize modern hygiene equipment
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care techniques
- Collaborate with a dedicated hygiene assistant to enhance patient care and workflow efficiency
- Accurately document patient care and treatment plans
Key Requirements
- Active or pending Dental Hygiene license in Georgia
- X-ray certification (required)

Essential Responsibilities
- Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times
- Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
- Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
- Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Other duties as assigned
