About the Job
Our specialty practice is seeking a front office receptionist/ scheduler whose strength is for customer service and scheduling and has a genuine interest in helping people.
An ideal candidate is:
- Punctual, respectful

- Loving to talk to patients, and making them feel welcome
- Caring about people and wants to make a difference
- Highly sensitive to the importance of patient care and communication
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, independent thinker, quick learner
- Proficient with the requisite computer functions, typically expected in dental office
- Comfortable presenting financial arrangements and collecting fees
- Open to feedback and positive criticism. Eager to learn and improve.
Main duties:
- Checking in and outpatients
- General administrative tasks, including, but not limited to, scheduling, basic bookkeeping, insurance/payment tasks, phone call communications with patients/ referrals/ doctors, insurance companies, etc...
- Inventory and supply management
- Office maintenance / out-of-office errands
Occasional back-office duties:
- Seating patients
- Operatory set up
