Summary:
Under the direction of the Dental Manager, the Dental Training Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the onboarding of new dental staff and the continuous development of existing dental team members. The role will focus on implementing and managing training programs that enhances the skills of both new and existing team members, leading to improved operational efficiency and overall practice success. The Training Coordinator will strategically maintain high quality patient care, while optimizing staff performance, and supporting overall department growth and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role will focus on implementing and managing training programs that enhances the skills of both new and existing team members, leading to improved operational efficiency and overall practice success. The Training Coordinator will strategically maintain high quality patient care, while optimizing staff performance, and supporting overall department growth and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintains accurate training records, attendance and employee evaluations.
- Ensures training program is compliant w regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collects and analyzes feedback from staff to continuously improve training programs and processes.
- Works closely with dental providers, dental leads, and other stakeholders to identify training needs and objectives.
- Organizes and conducts workshops and hands-on training sessions on advanced techniques and new technologies.
- Assesses training needs of current staff and design tailored programs to address skill gaps and promote professional growth.
- Facilitates dental orientation for onboarding employees.
- Develops onboarding program for new dental staff, including clinical procedures, office policies, patient care standards, etc.
- Monitors progress of new staff and provide additional training as needed to ensure competency.

- Team members will participate in the review and evaluation processes of practice performance and help to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Team members will participate in Grace Health's advocacy program.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with dental services, clinical procedures and dental operations.
- At least 1 year of dental office experience, EDDA/EFDA preferred.
- Previous experience in training or education is highly desired.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Participation in continued education.
