Overview:
As a General Dentist, you will be responsible for delivering a full range of dental services to patients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure that our patients receive the highest standard of care. Responsibilities:

• Clinical Care:

  • Provide comprehensive dental care including diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative care, extractions, and prosthodontic services.
  • Perform routine dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, and extractions.
  • Administer anesthesia and perform sedation dentistry as necessary.
  • Conduct oral cancer screenings and perform diagnostic assessments such as X-rays.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.

• Patient Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with patients to encourage continuous and preventive care.
  • Manage patient care from consultation to follow-up, ensuring all treatments are explained clearly and patient concerns are addressed.
  • Work with the dental support staff to maintain a well-organized and efficient workflow within the clinic.

• Collaboration & Compliance:

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the organization to provide holistic patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and organizational regulations and protocols, including OSHA and HIPAA.
  • Participate in continuing education to stay updated on the latest dental techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
• Active and unrestricted dental license in the state of Iowa.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in general dentistry preferred, though any experience level is welcome to apply.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
