Dentist Needed: Full-Time in Calipatria,CA - AvaMed Workforce

AvaMed Inc is a Healthcare Staffing Agency that staffs all of California State Correctional Facilities/CDCR. At the moment we are in URGENT need of a Dentist to take on a Full-Time position at the correctional facility located in Calipatria,CA

• Provider must have a minimum of 1 year experience
• Provider must be licensed in California

Calipatria, CA

Full-Time

Shifts Available:

Mon-Fri 7am-3pm

$110/HR (1099)

Orientation: 1 week IST/ 1 week LMS Dentrix training 

Qualification Requirements:

1. Minimum of twenty four (24) continuous months of experience similar in scope to those defined herein, in a public or private institution. Breaks between employment shall not exceed four (4) weeks within the thirty (30) months prior to the date of commencement of service with the CDCR.

2. All assigned personnel must have the required licenses, and/or certifications noted herein.

3. Patient healthcare is of paramount importance. Accuracy in communications is critical to ensure timely, correct care is provided. Therefore, any Dentist providing services through this Agreement must be proficient in the English language and be able to communicate effectively with CDCR. All Dentists must be able to speak, understand oral and written communication and write effectively in the English language. Any Dentists who fail to meet the minimum qualifications shall not be permitted to perform service. The HPM III or designee shall state in writing the reason(s) the Dentist does not meet minimum qualifications and submit to Vendor Manager and to the Direct Medical Contracts Management Unit. After notification of failure to meet minimum qualifications has been provided, CDCR shall not pay the Vendor Worker for any additional hours identified as not meeting the minimum qualifications.
