The Dentist with NATIVE HEALTH will serve as a professional in the dental field in connection with the diagnosis and treatment of commonly encountered dental diseases or dental health problems requiring standard corrective, restorative, or preventive measures. The Dentist provides comprehensive general dental care to a wide variety of patients in quality oriented, and in accordance with the American Dental Association standards, in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform comprehensive oral health examinations and develop treatment plans
- Conduct a wide range of dental procedures, including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Interpret dental X-rays and other diagnostic tests
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
- Manage patient pain and anxiety during dental procedures
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient care
- Stay updated on the latest dental technologies and techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENT:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid dental license in the state of Arizona
- Current DEA number certification.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience preferred
Standard Employment Requirements
- Must possess a valid and unrestricted Arizona driver’s license (within 30 days of hire if applicant is from out-of-state) with no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions in the last five years. No more than two at-fault accidents in the last three years. Must maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license during employment. Must be insurable under NATIVE HEALTH’s liability auto policy.
- Must pass a criminal background check and obtain a Class I Fingerprint Clearance Card within the initial ninety (90) calendar days of employment and retain a valid card while employed with NATIVE HEALTH.
- Must pass substance abuse testing upon employment and submit to random testing during employment.
- Must provide an updated immunization (IZ) record at the time of employment.
- Must have a current (within 12 months) Tuberculosis (TB) skin report upon employment and provide an annual update.
- Must obtain BLS certified within (90) calendar days of employment and maintain certification during employment.
