About the Job
Maximus is seeking an IT Deployment Lead to oversee the implementation of a large-scale IT modernization initiative across our customer's facilities nationwide, ensuring seamless adoption and positive user experiences. The IT Deployment Lead will develop deployment strategies, coordinate rollout schedules, and provide on-site support to operationalize the process effectively. Acting as the primary point of contact for agency personnel and stakeholders, the lead will facilitate communication and support throughout the modernization effort.
Position is contingent upon award.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to devise implementation strategies and deployment schedules pre-award.
• Coordinate deployment teams efficiently, managing organizational change, communication, training, and customer support.
• Foster open communication channels between field teams and remote operations to facilitate ongoing improvements.
• Liaise with agency and customer site leads to ensure smooth operations.
• Drive successful user adoption through pre-deployment communication and marketing plans.
• Assist in defining requirements for task orders and guide "Sand Box" development for future deployments.
• Utilize skills from the multi-disciplinary deployment team to implement adjustments throughout the modernization lifecycle.
• Analyze data analytics to forecast inventory demand and product performance, ensuring alignment with demand data and other factors.
• Conduct briefings and communications with key stakeholders as required.
• Provide input and support to development and customer support teams based on user community feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements

Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree and 12 years of related experience in implementation strategy and deployment of a large-scale IT modernization effort
• Ability to obtain and hold a position of public trust
• Experience with Supply Chain Management within either DoD or Department of Veterans Affairs
• Executive-level leadership within the government or government contracting
• Experience with government health agencies, including Department of Veterans Affairs
• Strong interpersonal skills with both external and internal customers
• Ability to manage multiple high-profile or mission-critical tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other business-related software
• Potential for up to 60% travel
Desired Skills:
• Experience transitioning a major program and nationwide project start up.
• Experience implementing an IT modernization effort within a government health agency.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
