Your Responsibilities
As Deployment Test Engineer, you will join a cross-disciplinary engineering team who help ensure that our multi-robot automation system is deployed successfully. Our automation system is built in a modular fashion, and once a subassembly is complete, you will execute a series of tests to make sure everything is working as expected. We're looking for candidates with familiarity with electrical, mechanical, and software systems, and ideally experience with automation. This role is based in Plymouth Meeting, PA, but will require some domestic travel.
In this role you will:
- Become an advanced user of our automation control system, including low-level super-user tools
- Champion equipment "bring-up", validation and verification activities prior to hand-off to customer ownership.
- Help update our checklists and procedures to make future installations easier
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, robot, or industrial engineering or equivalent
- Local to the Plymouth Meeting construction site
- Experience designing experiments and analyzing data
- Programming competency within common languages used for data analysis (SQL, Python, etc.)
- Experience working with hardware such as motors, sensors, and actuators
- Hands on aptitude – able to dive in and troubleshoot a variety of system issues across multiple engineering disciplines
- Ability to travel

- The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 plus stock and benefits. Pay within the range is based on candidate experience, job-specific skills, education, and work location.
