Job Description:
The Deposit & Investment Product Manager role is responsible for Product Lifecycle Management of HarborOne’s Deposit Accounts and Investment Services, including evaluating our Consumer and Business account offerings, establishing product vision, gaining alignment among key cross-functional stakeholders, and owning the prioritization of initiatives and efforts to drive acquisition of low-cost deposits and managing product portfolios.

- Assist the FVP, Digital, Product & Reporting with the consumer and business banking deposit product strategy and priorities necessary to meet or exceed the bank’s targets for balance and customer growth, margin, and fee income.
- Set priorities for new product development/ modifications, rates, fee income, and product positioning.
- Identify customer needs, defining product requirements, and collaborating with cross–functional teams including IT, Digital, Banking Centers Operations, Support, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Risk, and Compliance
- Own product vision, feature sets, and roadmap, driving user awareness and engagement.
- Conceive, build and maintain products, that deliver on customer needs.
- Ensure that product initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and that they meet or exceed business case expectations.
- Manage product profitability through forecasting, portfolio analysis, and marketing, channel, and sales performance reviews.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive activity, and obtain customer & colleague feedback to identify risks or opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Partner closely with Banking Centers, Digital, Marketing, and Segment leaders to cross prioritize and implement new initiatives, processes, communication, etc. to drive growth in product profitability and to ensure mutual goals are achieved
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
- Eight to twelve years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines must be met; effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many tasks, and projects.
- Advanced analytical skills.
- Must always demonstrate courteous and professional customer service; excellent verbal and written skills; ability to deal effectively with time pressures and stress.
- Demonstrate multitasking skills with the ability to move from task to task with accuracy and ease.
- Ability to communicate to all levels and must maintain the integrity of confidential client and Bank information. Must be a self-starter.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to complex inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess strong rational thinking and strong knowledge of practical banking applications.

- Maintain an up to date understanding of bank policies and procedures as they relate to compliance.
- Ability to independently discern customer’s needs and recommend the most appropriate resolution, products or services while working within established bank policies.
- Ability to work independently, research defined problems or opportunities within the deposit and investment products area.
- Ability to work with vendors and recommend appropriate actions necessary to fix, improve or enhance products.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as statistical inference.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
