Responsibilities:Paradyme Management is hiring a Consulting Practice Manager to support mission critical programs.
The Consulting Practice Manager leads the team and other staff members to oversee the support and services provided to clients. They establish strategies and protocols, develop strategic plans, and serve as the primary director. They set expectations and ensure all consultants are meeting standards to ensure client satisfaction. They analyze organizational operations and develop strategies to improve efficiency, increase revenue, or meet other high-priority objectives. They may also be responsible for recruitment, hiring, and training staff members.
Duties include:
- Manage and lead through management team and/or senior level individual contributors.
- Mentor junior members and groom them for more responsibility.
- Effectively manage loss costs and claim expenses on major claims.
- Identify gaps in the market and spot opportunities to create value propositions.
- Assist with recruitment of a team of exceptional consultants.
- Effectively manage and coach others, collaborate with internal and external parties.
- Analyze company data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support responses to RFPs and business development efforts.
- Lead delivery teams that help clients build and manage customer relationships and maximize sales.
- Work with and influence cross-functional teams (Operations areas, IT, PMO) to drive successful day-to-day operations and solution deployments.
- Manage both direct reports and project teams, serve as a leader and mentor to all.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and techniques to solve complex customer issues.
- Develop strategic alternatives for addressing those issues and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or Business.
- Clearable up to Top Secret
- Minimum 4 years relevant work experience as a project manager or product owner, leading agile teams for customer solutions and delivery.
- Effectively connect with and represent customers, understand the customer experience, identify problems and issues to be solved and develop effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify key issues and solutions and convey those to the team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
Nice to Have:
- Real passion for developing team-oriented solutions to complex engineering problems.
- Prior experience as a technical software engineer/developer.
- Prior experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in an agile setting.
- Thrive in an autonomous, empowering and exciting environment.
- Great verbal and written communication skills to collaborate multi-functionally and improve scalability.
- Interest in committing to a fun, friendly, expansive, and intellectually stimulating environment.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications using IaaS and PaaS on major cloud providers, such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Services.
- Conveys highly technical concepts and information in written form to technical and non-technical audiences.
- The ability to work on multiple concurrent projects is essential. Strong self -motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be a team-oriented individual, energetic, result & delivery oriented, with a keen interest on quality and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in an agile environment

- Sedentary work.

- Fine repetitive motor skills with hands, wrists, and fingers in coordination with eyes.
