POSITION SUMMARY:
The Deputy Director of Internal Operations is a key member of the senior leadership team responsible for overseeing specific Adelante Mujeres core functions. This includes Fund Development, Marketing & Communications, Operations & IT, and Learning & Impact. Total number of employees across these functions are approximately 15-20, with the Deputy Director having direct supervision responsibilities of Directors and managers. The Deputy Director of Internal Operations will ensure high-quality, integrated and culturally responsive operational support, contribute to strategic planning and decision-making, and oversee operational excellence as Adelante Mujeres continues to enhance its quality programming and build capacity. The Deputy Director of Internal Operations will ensure procedures, policies and controls are in place, in addition to serving as an ambassador of Adelante Mujeres' mission in marketing, communications, and fundraising activities. The Deputy Director of Internal Operations will report to the Executive Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Executive Leadership:
- Develops and implements strategic plans, collaborating with the Executive Director, Board, and staff, to achieve organizational goals and objectives in alignment with the mission, vision and values.
- Creates and maintains strategic alliances and partnerships.
- As a member of the Executive and Senior Management Team collaborates in decision making, change management and implementation of organizational strategies.
Team Leadership:
- Cultivates a collaborative, participatory work environment that values mission focus, respect, professionalism, and open communication; encourages new ideas and supports change efforts.
- Leads, coaches and develops the team and provides constructive feedback and coaching to staff, promoting a culture of accountability, professional development and inclusion.
Operations, Facilities, & IT:
- Oversees administrative IT and facilities functions to ensure efficient and consistent operations as the organization scales.
- Leads the development and maintenance of operating procedures and policies that comply with audit standards and legal governance requirements.
Fund Development:
- Collaborates with the Director of Development on the long-term fundraising strategy in alignment with the Adelante Mujeres strategic plan.
- Actively participates in fundraising activities such as major gift solicitation from individuals, foundations and corporations, and fundraising events including capital campaigns.
Learning & Impact:
- Lead the development and implementation of Adelante Mujeres Impact, Monitoring and Learning strategies.
- Oversee implementation of processes and systems to ensure culturally appropriate, timely and regular program evaluation.
Marketing & Communications:
- Collaborates with the Director of Communications to develop internal and external communications strategy for the organization.
- Strategize with the Director of Communication to create an annual communications and marketing plan.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- A passionate commitment to the mission of the organization, environmental sustainability, employee well-being, and support for immigrant and BIPOC communities
- Bachelor's degree (or post-secondary international equivalent)
- At least eight years of experience supervising or managing teams
- A minimum of three years of experience working and collaborating with Latine communities.
- Bilingual-bicultural Spanish/English
- Experience leading multiple organizational functions, specifically administrative and development functions.
- Experience coaching and developing leaders and frontline employees.
- Demonstrated ability and passion to provide strategic leadership and vision in a nonprofit setting.
- A successful track record in setting priorities; leveraging analytics, organization and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision making.
- Strong project management and communication skills to drive alignment within the organization.
- Strong executive communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience establishing new partnerships and nurturing existing relationships across a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising activities such as funder cultivation, events and marketing.

- Position will be primarily based in Forest Grove. Although must have access to reliable transportation and be flexible to travel as needed throughout Washington County, with occasional trips across Oregon.
- Ability to travel out of town to attend workshops or trainings
- Occasional work in evening, weekend, or workdays exceeding 8 hours with opportunity to flex schedule.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- Salary range: $112K-$120K, depending on qualifications
- Classification: Full-time, exempt
- Telework: up to 2 days a week
