About the Job
Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Dermatology Research Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner dedicated exclusively to clinical research. In this role, you will lead and manage clinical trials focused on advancing treatments in dermatology, including groundbreaking studies on moderate to severe conditions like eczema, psoriasis, neurofibromatosis, and alopecia. As part of a team known for its impact in the field, your work will help bring cutting-edge therapies to market, playing a key role in the development of new and effective dermatological treatments.
Key Responsibilities:

Patient Screening and Consent: Carefully review patient medical history and information to determine pre-qualification. Lead patient examinations to confirm eligibility, following detailed inclusion and exclusion criteria. Provide information and sign consent for qualified candidates, ensuring they fully understand the study process.

Study Coordination and Patient Monitoring: Oversee each stage of patient care within the study, coordinating schedules for visits, lab work, blood tests, EKGs, and other necessary safety assessments. Ensure adherence to study protocol, maintain detailed records, and monitor patient progress and responses throughout the trial.

Data Collection and Analysis: Record, document, and report findings to ensure high standards of data integrity. Prepare study-related documentation accurately and thoroughly, supporting ongoing and future study evaluations and clinical insights.

Dedicated Focus on Dermatology Research: Work primarily on studies involving moderate to severe dermatologic conditions, with a strong focus on emerging treatments for eczema, psoriasis, neurofibromatosis, alopecia, and other complex skin disorders.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of clinical experience in dermatology, with a solid foundation in managing dermatological conditions.
- Previous experience in clinical research or a strong interest in transitioning to a full-time research role.
- Ability to engage with patients, explain complex medical information clearly, and build trust in the research process.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, essential for managing study schedules, patient records, and compliance.
Schedule and Flexibility: This role offers flexible scheduling, with 3-4 days in-office and one possible remote day each week. Ideal for a provider who values flexibility while staying committed to advancing dermatological research.
