Design Engineer at Judge Group

The Judge Group is seeking a Design Engineer for its client in the Atlanta, GA area. Our client manufacturers a variety of products that are sold in stores such as Home Depot and Lowes. The applicant will conduct research necessary to develop engineering designs and material specifications, coordinates cost estimating activities and prepares written reports. 

Title: Design Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GA Area

Salary: $80,000-$120,000

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Determines design criteria in accordance with applicable standards and codes

-Reviews and checks engineering drawings, computations, estimates and reports for completeness, accuracy, and soundness of applied engineering principles and governing standards and policies

-Provides guidance and work supervision for other technical personnel

-Responsible for preparing any number and variety of documents for review by various product listing agencies in -accordance with industry standards

-Assists in the preparation of periodic departmental performance reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Engineering Degree

-3+ years of related engineering experience in the manufacturing industry
