Job Details
- Create detailed designs, schematics, and technical drawings using SolidWorks.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for new projects and modifications.
- Utilize the Creaform Black Elite Series 3D Scanner for accurate 3D scanning and design validation.
- Lead engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Monitor timelines and budgets, making necessary adjustments to stay on track.
- Analyze systems and processes to identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Develop and implement solutions to improve efficiency, performance, and safety.
- Perform calculations and simulations to validate designs and predict system behavior.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Create and implement maintenance schedules to guarantee reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Ensure all designs and installations adhere to relevant codes and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to minimize hazards.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and project documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of design changes, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Engage in initiatives to enhance design processes and practices.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in design engineering.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of design engineering experience in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for CAD design and modeling.
- Experience with 3D scanning technology, particularly Creaform Black Elite Series.
- Strong grasp of engineering design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong project management capabilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of relevant engineering codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI).
