Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled professional to take charge of design creation, sheet metal programming, and overseeing manufacturing processes to ensure top-notch quality and efficiency. Your role will involve addressing any design challenges and optimizing production rates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design custom heaters in accordance with client specifications and drawings
- Generate manufacturing drawings and authorize production orders
- Program sheet metal components and oversee their production
- Troubleshoot and resolve any production related issues
- Aid clients in new project initiatives and calculations
- Conduct research on raw materials and update drawings and specifications
Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5+ years experience with a relevant industry
- Proficiency with 2D software
- Understanding of electrical circuits
- Knowledge of sheet metal design
- Familiarity with sheet metal programming is helpful
- Experience with SolidWorks for 3D modeling
