Williams & Connolly LLP, recognized as one of the world's premier litigation firms, is currently seeking candidates for the position of E-Filing Coordinator to serve as an important member of the legal team. Under the direction of the Director of Paralegals, and working closely with the E-Filing Specialist and Director of Litigation Support, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Assisting in all court/agency filings in an accurate and timely matter; * Researching and maintaining updated e-filing procedures, local court rules, state and federal civil procedure, and case histories as needed;* Maintaining a current list of renewal guidelines for court and Pro Hac Vice (PHV) registration;* Administering the Firm's PacerPro account to assist with registrations and deletions and setting up alerts;* Tracking of court admissions to maintain records of attorney court registrations and renewals, assist in PHV registrations and track status for all attorneys;* Working with attorneys and legal staff to obtain certificates of good standing;* Reviewing quarterly PACER and state court invoices; reconciling expenses associated with filing and registration fees: and * Helping to maintain the firm's PACER Administrative Account (PAA). Additional responsibilities may include, but not limited to the following:* Assisting the trial logistics team with meeting case requirements for trial support; * Editing the departmental intranets; * Assisting the paralegal management team in training/development initiatives, and skills tracking; and* Assisting in invoice and expense reconciliation.
Required Skills, Abilities, and Education:* Prior e-filing experience (CM/ECF, Odyssey e-File, File & ServeXpress); * BA/BS degree; * At least three years of paralegal experience; * Ability to work under tight deadlines to multitask. Overtime may be required for late night filing deadlines; * Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills; * Professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and high-quality work standards; and* Excellent oral and written communication skills.This is a non-exempt position. The working hours for this position are 9:00 am - 5:30 pm. with flexibility to work overtime to meet late filing deadlines. The ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs. is required. After successfully completing the introductory period, the candidate will be eligible to work the department's approved hybrid schedule. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000. The final offer amount is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, education, and other relevant skills and qualifications.
