Manufacturing & Fabrication Manager - 1979

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing & Fabrication Manager to join our client's team, a growing manufacturer of commercial construction solutions located in Central Pennsylvania. In this role, you will specialize in overseeing the design and fabrication process for commercial construction projects, including façade and building enclosures. 

The Manufacturing & Fabrication Manager will prepare detailed shop, production, installation, and as-built drawings, ensuring accuracy and precision at every stage of the process. You will also lead fabrication efforts, driving innovation and excellence across multiple projects while overseeing a team of designers and production personnel in a manufacturing setting.

Key responsibilities include managing and mentoring a team of direct reports, working closely with project management teams, and ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration. You will oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of projects, manage inventory, and ensure site safety. The role will also involve contributing to product development, utilizing modeling, 3D printing, and integrating the latest technology to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 3-10 years of experience in architectural drafting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in planning, inventory management, and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
