Role: CONTRACTOR: Instructional Designer Commercialization Skills, Worldwide Commercialization Learning Centre of Excellence
REPORTING TO: DIRECTOR, WW Commercialization Learning Center of Excellence
Role Summary:
The Instructional Designer will work with the WW Commercialization Learning Centre of Excellence (CoE) and various matrix teams to design and develop learning solutions that build core, and consistent knowledge and skills needed to perform in customer-facing, field-based functions across the globe. This role will support the CoE and WW Medical Learning in their efforts to upskill customer-facing teams and their leaders across therapeutica areas and markets. They will be responsible for designing, developing, reviewing, and revising learning content and performance metrics. This role requires the application of instructional design theory and content development process to create a variety of learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize instructional design principles or models (e.g., ADDIE, etc.) to design and develop trainings in a variety of modalities (e.g., ILV, vILT, e-learning, etc.), from needs analysis, design, storyboard through final deliverable
Apply knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design principles and strategies to identify appropriate learning media and methodologies based on audience learning styles, course content, audience location, point within the learning process, etc.
Create design documents that specify learning objectives, learning strategies, learning materials design specifications, skill application and learning impact (e.g., business results, evaluation)
Develop content/materials for various trainings and modalities ensuring both facilitators and participants are well-supported during instructor-led and blended training programs
Acts as liaison between third party training content developers as needed
Consult, analyze, and develop highly engaging and interactive learning solutions
Partner with subject matter experts (SME) to ensure training content and outcomes meet the business need
Work with and oversee the use of external vendors to support the design and/or development of new learning content as needed
Support evaluation strategies and tools to measure program effectiveness and determine if desired learning and performance outcomes are achieved
Champion review of learning content by key Client stakeholders (e.g., regulatory, legal, SME) to ensure compliance to applicable requirements
Manage project timelines and coordinate appropriate internal resources to create high-quality, on-time deliverables that stay within scoped timeline
Promote collaboration, partnership and relationships among the participants and stakeholders in a design project
Maintain project documentation and course folders

Qualifications:
Four-year bachelor's degree required preferably in instructional design or bachelor's degree and 4+ years of training experience with a focus on adult learning principles
