About the Job
Summary
Our Brand & Creative team is responsible for the management of brand and design support for corporate materials. This 9 member team manages, design, writing, strategy, production, video and more for corporate assets, internally and externally. This role would be focused on developing materials for partners including company reports, infographics, presentations, 1-page explainers, internally used templates and more. This role would integrate with our creative team which includes design, writing, photography and videography. The right candidate would work collaboratively with PMs, producers and creatives to ensure that all assets are on-brand, effective and meet the brief. This designer should be able to quickly interpret brand guidelines and be able to translate that into effective, on brand designs. Ensures every communication product for customers delivers on our brand promise.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Executes creative projects from concept to completion and provides highest-quality work with careful attention to detail and timeline; prioritizes tasks; ensures projects conform to PGE’s strategic direction, products, processes, customers and overall marketplace.
Develop collateral and material for a full range of assignments/projects or direct others to do so; maintains consistent brand standards; stays abreast of and applies creative trends.
Collaborates with clients and communications teams to assess project requirements, objectives and creative direction; determines appropriate visual, content and animated elements of projects; assesses time requirements for each task and collaborates with team to establish appropriate project time line.
Coordinates with internal staff and with vendors (e.g., graphic designers, art directors, copy writers, photographers and printers) on assignments/projects.

Intermediate knowledge of and skill in applying graphic design, content and audio/visual principles, standards, techniques, and methodologies and brand guidelines
Intermediate knowledge of user interface design and digital graphics

Advanced knowledge of print and digital production and archiving best practices
Intermediate computer skills in systems used in department
Intermediate skills in developing and maintaining systems for file naming, organization and archiving

Is utilities experience required? (Y/N): No

Ability to absorb complex topics and help partners tell effective and compelling stories through simple visual representations
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), MS Office (particularly PPT)
Working knowledge of Figma or XD
Experience developing corporate reports and presentations
Self starter, comfortable asking questions until complete understanding is achieved.
Top 3 Nice-To-Haves (Hard and/or Soft Skills)
Experience with Creatopy, Ceros, Canva
Comfortable with ambiguity, sound judgement when to escalate for certainty.
Proficient in Spanish
Education Requirements (Experience in Lieu of Degree): BA in Graphic design or 5 years experience
