Designer II - Weston & Sampson

The Facilities group at Weston & Sampson is a multi-disciplinary architectural & engineering design group headquartered in New England and New York, with additional team members located in North Carolina and Florida. We are seeking architectural designers with 3-5 years of experience for our Fort Myers Florida office. Work will include participating in multi-disciplinary production of architectural design documents for the Facility group’s municipal clients and supporting the company’s other engineering discipline groups.

What you’ll do:

• Work in a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team who will help foster your professional growth.
• Work with Project Architects and other engineering disciplines in the production of all phases of architectural design documentation, including feasibility studies, programming, building design, construction documents, and renderings and presentations, for new construction and renovation of complex, multi-disciplinary municipal projects.

• Provide design and architectural production support to other in-house Weston & Sampson discipline groups including Landscape Architecture, Aquatics, Environmental, Water, Transportation and Wastewater.

What you will bring:

• 3-5 years of experience as a productive member of a project design team.
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture, or similar degree.
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to work as a collaborative team member and have a desire to grow professionally.
• Experience with the development of construction documents for the public sector is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluency in Revit/BIM.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
