Designer - Syntron Material Handling

Work with a skilled and dynamic engineering group to produce all related documentation (drawings, work instructions, manuals) for material handling equipment across various product lines. Primarily focused on 3D modeling and drafting of components and assemblies.

• Modify existing drawings as needed and/or directed by Engineering staff.
• Track drawing modifications.
• Maintain and organize documentation for engineering procedures, ECN’s design sheet, etc.
• Participate in the development of engineering estimates for projects and or study proposals.
• Attending project team meetings.
• Create drawings, specifications and or documents
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, ethical conduct and excellent communications.

• 2-year associates degree and 3 – 5 years of Design/Drafting experience preferably in material handling equipment.
• Familiar with ASME Y14 drafting standards.
• 3- 5 years 3D drafting/design (SolidWorks preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
• Ability to understand and apply basic Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry principles to design components for fit and function.
