About the Job
- Setup and support of end-point telephony devices (phones, conference room speaker phones, mobile phones, hotspots)
- Work with other Infrastructure employees on hardware and software upgrades & patching
- Responsible for ordering new equipment and software, as well as creating the purchase orders and inventory control
- Serves as the initial IT contact for the user community regarding problems and requests concerning OS, PC hardware, printers and various peripherals, MS Office Suite applications and support, PC use, technical training, telecommunications or any other IT related matters
- Provides accurate, timely, and creative solutions to end-user computer and networking problems
- Logs, maintains, and updates all Tickets on the ITSM platform (Service Now). Keeps users apprised of ongoing request status and resolution
- Provides on-site and remote support in a team-oriented environment
- Supports existing hardware and software standards and evaluates/recommends upgrades as required for current environment
- Configures and installs new PCs and printers to connect to existing network
- Executes IT projects and initiatives
- Provides application support for MS Office Suite including Microsoft Outlook
- Performs other IT support functions as required
Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- 2 or more years of professional experience working in a desktop/technical support help center environment
- Knowledge of technical support tools and Help Desk software providing remote support
- Customer focused attitude while working directly with customers, by telephone and on-site
- Must be professional and enjoy working in a team environment
- Strong problem solving and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot via telephone and in person with internal customers and vendor support technicians
- Must be able to coordinate and resolve multiple support issues simultaneously
- Must be able to lift PC equipment up to 20lbs
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
