We're seeking a Deskside Technician to provide on-site technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure seamless operations for our corporate employees. This position is based onsite at our corporate office at 27100 W 11 Mile Road, Southfield, MI 48034.
What will you do?
- Provide hardware/software support services to all company users including break/fix following the company polices
- Work in conjunction with the 3rd level to provide proper image build and machine compliance
- Implement virus detection and eradication procedures
- Diagnose end-user system failures and implement repair solutions as instructed
- Diagnose printer and other peripheral device failures and implement repair solutions
- Troubleshoot network devices in order to ensure connectivity from the PC to the Network
- Provide hardware/software support services to onsite or remote users including break/fix
- Generate stock control, report and sustain our hardware supply
What do you need to succeed?
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- This is an entry level position and typically requires less than 1 year of related experience
- Personal organization and discipline
- Deskside support experience with strong emphasis supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Experience working with SCCM or Adaptiva, Asset tool or similar
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365, Teams and other applications
- Experience troubleshooting wireless connectivity issues
- Quality Customer Service skills
- VPN experience
- Experience with basic hardware printer support
