Xpress Wellness is a leading healthcare care provider that is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services. We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Administrator oversees all aspects of the company’s desktop management suite and IT service management tool. This includes, but is not limited to, building and troubleshooting Windows images, creating and updating software deployment packages, deployment of OS and application patches and monitoring endpoints for compliance.
The Desktop Support Administrator is also responsible for thorough documentation, project planning and coordination, and IT Support training.
Responsibilities:
- Position must interact with current MSP support desk personnel to ensure user support needs are being met.
- Act as an escalation point for end user issues.
- Package, test, maintain and troubleshoot Windows 11 images.
- Package, test, maintain and troubleshoot application deploy packages and scripts.
- Deploy and monitor OS and application patches.
- Document solutions and procedures; organize and update existing knowledge articles.
- Maintain the configuration of ITSM tools.
- Train company personnel in the use of ITSM tools.
- Desktop hardware inventory management.
- Desktop hardware ordering and tracking.
- Desktop imaging and deployment to end users.
- Serve as a technical resource for members of the IT Support teams and the MSP.
- Work with IT support to develop the best system functionality.
- Evaluate the security of endpoints and implement necessary security measures.
- Support and implement internal applications as needed.
- Support and implementation of M365.
- Support and implement network printing.
- Support all aspects of IT security as it relates to desktop management.
Requirements
- Exceptional knowledge of Windows 10/11 – support, operation, security, packaging and upgrades.
- Experience with imaging of Windows 10/11 using SCCM, MDT, WDS or similar tools; familiarity with DISM, unattended answer files.
- Experience scripting with PowerShell, VBScript, Batch, or other languages.
- Experience packaging and deploying Windows applications.
- Experience with the deployment and monitoring of Windows updates.
- Experience supporting a wide range of desktop applications.
- Experience with BitLocker deployment and administration.
- Extensive experience supporting M365.
- Must have working experience in an geo diverse environment; greater than 500 users.
- Night and weekend work will be required.
- On-call we be required.
- Travel we be require, 10 to 15%
