Daley And Associates is currently in search of an experienced, collaborative, and proactive professional to join their our client's technical support staff. This role involves providing effective Tier1 and 2 support to staff across various technical domains. The position operates on a hybrid model (3 days in the Boston office).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical support and assistance for computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Respond promptly to IT incidents, ensuring an appropriate level of urgency.
- Record, track, and document help desk requests, including all decisions and actions taken, through to final resolution in our ticketing system.
- Enhance team performance through positive customer relations.
- Perform hands-on desktop fixes, including software installation and upgrades, hardware installation, and system/application configuration.
- Assist with Moves, Adds, and Changes for on-site user hardware.
- Provide support for mobile devices, including iPhone and Android.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with medium to large-scale workstation deployments and familiarity with tools like MS Deployment Services, PDQ, and WSUS.
- Basic networking skills and knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Ping, etc.
- Capability to manage administrative tasks related to messaging functions (e.g., Secure Email Gateway, Blackberry Work).
- Knowledge of remote applications such as Citrix VDA & VDI, Cisco AnyConnect, and Zscaler.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, capable of effectively interacting with users, peers, and senior management.
- Strong ability to work both independently and within a remote team.
- A positive attitude, a strong desire to assist others, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks under pressure.
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Zoom, Webex, and Teams.
- Proficiency in supporting Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues within a Microsoft Windows Domain network environment.
