Ultimate Staffing is seeking an Desktop Support Technician to support a client in SW Houston area.
Salary Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Hours: M-F, 8am - 5pm In office
The Desktop Support Tech provides desktop and server administration support to the client's various offices. The Desktop support Tech plays an important role in assisting employees troubleshoot problems with computers and software.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- At least 1-3 years of Desktop Support experience required
- Comptia A+
- Network +
- AV monitoring & remediation, through familiarity with MS Windows, OS and office productivity suite
- Ability to Troubleshoot the following
- Hardware
- Software
- OS issues on company desktops/laptops
- Printer issues
- VPN issues
Essential Functions:
- Setup New employees
- Troubleshoot and Diagnose technical & Connection issues related to desktop and peripherals
- Maintain and manager network printer fleet
- Advise on software and hardware upgrades
- Maintain excellent documentation
