We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist with a strong background in both PC and Mac environments to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience providing hands-on support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring seamless network operations. Key Responsibilities
The base range for this contract position is $20 - $25/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience providing hands-on support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring seamless network operations. Key Responsibilities
- Provide desktop support for both PC and Mac systems, including basic data transfer, profile personalization, and imaging.
- Deliver software and hardware support for day-to-day operational troubleshooting across both PC and Mac platforms.
- Support network and server infrastructure, including WAN and LAN setups, and advanced firewall and switch configurations.
- Set up and manage Exchange environments, including Exchange user migrations, and device/email client setup for tablets, mobile phones, and computers.
- Manage domain migrations, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
- Configure VLANs on firewalls and switches to ensure VLAN segregation and proper network segmentation.
- Set up IPSec tunnels between firewalls to secure connectivity between different locations.
- Provide Exchange support, including expertise in Exchange 2007/2010 and migration projects.
- Administer MS Windows Server environments, including Windows Server 2003, 2008, and 2012.
- Demonstrate comprehensive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for a wide range of IT issues.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Exercise good judgment in prioritizing work and problem resolution based on urgency and impact.
- Proven experience in desktop support for both PC and Mac platforms.
- Strong understanding of network and server systems, including WAN, LAN, VLANs, and IPSec tunnels.
- Hands-on experience with firewall and switch setups, including advanced configurations.
- Extensive Exchange support experience, including Exchange 2007/2010 migrations and device setup.
- Administration experience with MS Windows Server 2003/2008/2012.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
