Job Responsibilities
• Simplify our development and release processes - automate everything from tests to system monitoring and releases
• Deploy & Maintain a reliable and efficient infrastructure
• Develop processes and software to manage and maintain networked resources
• Act as a liaison between development and IT/operations
• Should have a healthy obsession with service availability
Qualifications
• 7+ years as a mixture of development and administrative experience on Linux operating systems
• Must have a protocol level understanding of the IP network stack
• Must be versed in practical security around public facing services
• Experience with automation and scripting (shell scripting, Perl, Python, or Ruby)
• Understanding of Linux performance troubleshooting
• Network architecture and planning
• Experience developing technical documentation
Preferred Qualifications
• Jenkins experience
• Ansible automation framework
• Network architecture
• Ruby experience
• Chief & Puppet experience
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ
